Paris - Offline Map & City Guide (w/metro!) App Reviews

I visited Paris for a week, and this app was a lifesaver. It lets me find my current location on the map of Paris, *with no Internet access*. It has an overlay that shows Metro stations. You can search for addresses (though not "Eiffel Tower"). You can get a route between locations. There are a few problems. One day, the app stopped displaying map images, and would not recover until I deleted the app and reinstalled it. It is not easy enough to tell it to calculate a route starting at "my location". It does not know where "Eiffel Tower" is. But these complaints are small compared to how useful this app has been to me during my week in Paris (when no Paris mobile phone store would sell me a SIM that would give me Internet access on my unlocked AT&T iPhone 4S).

Good for the price

I tried every way possible to enter a favorites, to no avail although there is a icon for them. Landmarks would also be nice to find on the map.

Zero stars on the premium routing feature. What a waste - give me back my money!

Downloaded this app... Does not work in search mode... Does not even position correlate with google maps... Downloaded before I read other reviews... I feel this is worthless app and would also like my money refunded.!!!!!

This app is useless. Whenever I attempt to manipulate it, it crashes: every time. Should be zero stars.

I just downloaded this app. I cant get the search function to work-App freezes when I try to enter a house number...

Does what it says. You will need to buy an upgrade for it to do more.

It performs its core function well. Offline searching isnt as impressive, and considering thats a function you pay to get, its a disappointment.

This app is virtually useless on an iPhone and only marginally better on the iPad. I made the mistake of buying the full version, an utter waste of $5.

Nice scalable maps, even offline, but the instructions and interface for routing are not clear or intuitive. This should be easy to fix.

This has been a completely useless app. Routing doesnt work, searching a street doesnt work. Other than it being a zooming map offline it is completely useless.

Incredibly useful while in Paris without cellular service! Saved us time (and embarrassment of unfolding a huge map in the middle of the sidewalk).

Crashes....do not buy.

While is a good attempt I dont get what is its value. Google maps kills it. Takes too long to load and is difficult to read.

Keeps crashing not user friendly on ipad

Keeps crashing on iPad, even after update. 2 sites I wanted not in the list, and search bar only takes u to $5 upgrade page. Worthless.

Exactly what I was looking for. A map that becomes more detailed as you zoom in..... WITHOUT the Internet connection. Perfect for traveling.

The older version was fine, but I dont see any metro stops listed in this new version.

A great, detailed offline map of Paris with much info on attractions. No need for using a costly data plan while out of the country.
